I check out other people’s online journals, secretly hoping to find out that their life is in shambles.

I’m anticipating graduation like it will be the salvation of my life. The last time I waited with this much expectation was when I was saving up all my money for my dream car; a white ’99 Honda Prelude. A small part of me is dreading the possibility that I will be as disappointed as I was back then.

Life flickers between obligation, (Best Buy & CSUSB) and a few critical, fundamentally satisfying events: eating out, and playing GoW on my brand spankin’ new 360.

Sitting snug in my new $4.99 wallet is a shiny new credit card, and I’m beginning to rethink my philosophy that more money will not make me happier.

Argyle > Polka Dots

I can cross spicy food off “The List.” Next up: Six Flags here we come.

Graduation isn't salvation. Not. At. All. You'll be the same person but with a shitload more free time on your hands to realize how shitty life is. Wait, don't forget your degree. That may or may not come in handy. Oh, and you get to get a full-time job to support yourself. If you're really lucky, you'll get a job you love (or don't despise) for adequate money. If you're not so lucky, well, you know how it goes.

Polka dots are awesome.
